The first haunted house of the year has been revealed!
This house, inspired by the award-winning Naughty Dog video game, will be coming to both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood

Whether you’re attending Halloween Horror Nights 2023 in Orlando or California (or both!), this autumn you can join Joel and Ellie from Naughty Dog and PlayStation’s “The Last of Us” in a world of carnage and mayhem that will have you feeling like you’re right in the middle of the game itself.

This Halloween Horror Nights house will take guests into the ravaged civilisation of “The Last of Us”, where a fungal virus is turning humans into various forms of a threat known as the Infected. Set in the labyrinth of dark and dank tunnels of the Pittsburgh Quarantine Zone, you’ll encounter Runners, Stalkers, and Clickers, as well as the hostile Hunters, as you make your way past iconic locations from the game like The Hotel Grand.

If you’re a fan of the PlayStation game or the recent television series, we know you’ll be excited by this announcement, so here’s a sneak peek from Universal Studios to keep you going until you can experience the real thing from September!

Speaking about the house, Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann said “Having just celebrated the 10th anniversary of ‘The Last of Us’, it’s a perfect time for our fans to team up with Joel and Ellie and come face-to-terrifying-face with Clickers, Raiders and much more”... and we definitely agree!

This is the first house to be announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2023 and we can’t wait to see what will be joining “The Last of Us” in the line-up. In 2022, both coasts got to experience the terrors of Universal Monsters: Legends Collide, Halloween, The Horrors of Blumhouse and The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare but we’re yet to find out if any of these will be making a comeback this year.

Halloween Horror Nights begins September 1st at Universal Orlando Resort and September 7th at Universal Studios Hollywood, running until October 31st. The event is known to sell out so make sure you choose your night to scream and book your tickets as soon as possible!
