Until earlier this year, all we knew about Universal Epic Universe was that it would be opening at Universal Orlando Resort in 2025. But now we know almost everything about this exciting and immersive new theme park - including the lands, attractions, hotels, and more - and it definitely doesn’t disappoint! And with the most recent announcement, we now know the two things that people have been most interested in learning:
Universal Epic Universe will officially open it’s gates on May 22nd 2025, with tickets going on sale on 22nd October 2024!

For guests visiting in 2025 (after 22/05/25)
If you’re planning a visit to Universal Orlando Resort to experience all Universal Epic Universe has to offer in the few months after it opens, you will be able to purchase a brand-new version of the Universal Orlando Explorer Ticket when they go on sale on 22/10/24. The Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Ticket will include the following entitlements:
14 days of park-to-park access to:
- Universal Studios Florida
- Universal Islands of Adventure
- Universal Volcano Bay Water Theme Park

1 separate day of admission to:
- Universal Epic Universe

If you don’t wish to visit Universal Epic Universe, a 3-Park Explorer ticket that doesn’t include admission to this park will still be available after 22/10/24.

When will Epic Universe tickets go on sale?
Universal Epic Universe tickets will be on sale from 22nd October 2024. This will include tickets for 2025 (for arrivals from 22/05/25) and 2026, plus 2025 Universal combo tickets too.
How much will Epic Universe tickets cost?
The full price breakdown of Universal Epic Universe tickets will be available when tickets go on sale on 22/10/24, so we'll have all the information (and the tickets ready for you to book) from then!
Where is Epic Universe located?
Universal Epic Universe will be located to the south of Universal Orlando Resort, on the east side of the I-4 and International Drive. Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay Water Park and Universal CityWalk are to the west side. This is about a 25-30 minute drive from Orlando International Airport.
How big is Epic Universe?
We don't know the exact size of the Epic Universe park yet, but the whole area including the theme park, car parks, hotels, and road infrastructure is approximately 750 acres. The current north area of Universal Orlando Resort is 735 acres, with Universal Studios taking up 110 acres while Universal Islands of Adventure is 108 acres.
How close is Epic Universe to Universal Studios?
While it's possible to walk between Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk, and many of the current Universal Orlando Resort hotels, Universal Epic Universe will be about a 10-15 minute drive away. The resort will have complimentary transport to take guests around the whole resort.

A brand-new theme park means brand-new rides, attractions, entertainment, dining, character meet and greets, and even more.

What are the Universal Epic Universe Lands?
Celestial Park
Celestial Park is said to “put the ‘park’ back into ‘theme park’, combining lush living gardens and water features with attractions, restaurants, and shops, all inspired by astronomical and mythological elements. This isn’t just your entrance into Epic Universe; some of the park’s star attractions will be located in Celestial Park.
Celestial Park will be the gateway into the following four worlds, each bringing to life extraordinary adventures that go beyond guests’ wildest imaginations.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™
The Wizarding World already has pride of place in both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, and now it will be expanding even further, ready for guests to discover a brand new era of magic. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™ will blend 1920s wizarding Paris, as seen in Warner Bros. Pictures Fantastic Beasts films, with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.

Dark Universe
If you always wish that Halloween Horror Nights could last all year long then this is the land for you! In Dark Universe, guests will encounter everything from the experiments of Dr Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery.

Celestial Park
- Stardust Racers - a dual-launch coaster that reaches speeds of up to 62 mph and heights of up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track. This one is not for the faint of heart!
- Constellation Carousel - travel through the Milky Way moving forwards, backwards and making 360-degree rotations for a fantastical whirl around the stars. This will be the grand centrepiece of Celestial Park
- Astronomica - an interactive wet-play area that doubles as a giant compass, featuring gorgeous crystal blue fountains

What hotels will be at Universal Epic Universe?
In addition to the two new hotels that are already on sale for 2025 - Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort - there will be another new hotel located inside Epic Universe!
The Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will transport guests to a world where the heavens and earth unite, complete with 500 rooms, one-of-a-kind views, and its very own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe. This hotel is the perfect sunlit setting, with rooms evoking the tranquillity of a blissful garden, plus kids' suites themed to How to Train Your Dragon!
The Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open to guests on the same date as Universal Epic Universe - May 22nd 2025 - and you’ll be able to book your stay from October 22nd 2024.
