Disney Dining Reservations You Absolutely Must Make
Book ahead to avoid disappointment...
Don't miss out on these great Disney dining experiences!

With over 300 drinks and dining establishments at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll always be able to find a seat at a table somewhere in the resort. But if you want some of the most sought after dinner reservations at Disney, you’ll need to think and, most importantly, book way in advance of your arrival. Using the Disney My Magic Plus system, you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance (or 30 if you’re not staying at Disney resort hotel) and for certain restaurants, we highly recommend you use this power!

So which Walt Disney World restaurants require reservations?

Be our Guest Restaurant, The Magic Kingdom

Be Our Guest Dining Disney

Three themed dining halls welcome guests to immerse themselves in the magic of the Beauty and the Beast film as they dine on delicious American and French cuisine. The elaborate theming of the rooms extends over The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing and The Castle Gallery dining halls where you can choose from the convenience of quick-service or the luxury of a sit-down meal. Be Our Guest is hugely popular with diners because of the beautiful setting and because the food is second to none, so it’s important to make reservations as soon as possible!

Victoria and Albert’s, The Grand Floridian Resort

Victoria and Albert's Disney dining

With dining this fine, it’s not hard to see why tables at Victoria and Albert’s are snapped up so quickly. A million miles away from what you’d expect from Disney dining, Victoria and Albert’s serves haute American cuisine which has been given the AAA Five Diamond Award for excellence every year for the last 15 years. Relax in the classic elegance restaurant as the avant-garde seasonal menu is accompanied by the soft tones of the resident harpist. If you’re going all out for a special occasion, you might want to book the Chef’s Table, which sells out without fail at 7am ET 180 days in advance – good luck!

California Grill

California Grill

Youmight have heard about the gorgeous sunset views from the Contemporary Resort’s California Grill, but there’s no doubt at all that you’ve heard about the incredible gourmet dining served up by the chefs there. Fresh, seasonal ingredients pervade the menu, with some of the notable highlights being the oak-grilled filet of beef and the crisp, or fresh sushi followed up with a decadent chocolate dessert. You’ll definitely need to book ahead, and it’s worth reserving a time that coincides with the sunset or the fireworks, which you can enjoy through the panoramic glass wall. Don’t worry if you don’t manage to secure these sought after seats though – if you’ve dined at any point in the evening, you’re welcome to return to enjoy the fireworks from the restaurant’s private viewing balcony.

Chef Mickey’s Buffet

Chef Mickey's

Dinner with Mickey had to be on this list really didn’t it? Of course, the dining experience at Chef Mickey’s is one of the most popular dinner reservations you can make at Walt Disney World. And the fact that it is only available 3 days a week also makes it more difficult to book! By pre-booking tickets to Chef Mickey’s Character Dinner, you can guarantee a dining spot with all your favourite Disney pals, including Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck and, of course, Mickey, who pop out the kitchen for a big hug and an autograph! This is definitely one not to miss for your holiday in Orlando.

Remember, don’t panic if you don’t manage to get reservations at these few restaurants as there are literally hundreds of places to try for everyone on all budgets! It’s also worth checking back as your holiday approaches as there may be cancellations or changes of plan which leave you a chance to book. Good luck, foodies!

Book your Walt Disney World holiday and enjoy plenty of amazing added value extras including Disney's My Memory Maker.
