Once you arrive at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, you'll have 3 hours to explore Australia’s largest koala sanctuary. Get up close with over 130 koalas, hand-feed friendly kangaroos and emus and witness incredible shows like the Australian sheepdog demonstration and a breathtaking birds of prey display. This tour departs every day of the week excluding Christmas Day and ANZAC Day.

The cruise departs from Cultural Centre Pontoon at 9.00am. Boarding starts at 8.30am. 

Duration:

Around 6.5 hours. You will have 3 hours to explore at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The cruise takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to travel to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

  • Morning teas, lunch and snacks are available in the on-board cafe (at your own expense) 
  • The itinerary may be altered due to public holidays and is subject to change without notice. 
  • Children from 0-2 years are not catered for.
  • Hotel transfers are not included. The cruise departs from Cultural Centre Pontoon located on the Boardwalk outside the Queensland Art Gallery/GOMA Cultural Precinct at Southbank.
  • Please note: There are 28 stairs to climb from the boat to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary entry gates.

*Cancellation Policy: 

Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 24 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 24-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
