Are You Ready to get Fast and Furious at Universal Studios?
To the delight of thrill seekers and Fast and Furious fans alike, Universal Studios recently revealed news that Universal Studios Hollywood would make host to a brand new attraction inspired by the Fast and Furious movie franchise titled 'Fast and Furious: Supercharged', arriving in 2015! Find out more here...

If you're planning a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood next year, then news of this new attraction coming to the Hollywood theme park in 2015 will find you well.  Fast and Furious: Supercharged will be packed full with just as much action, speed and coolness  and be just as sleek, as hot and as racy as the Fast and Furious movie franchise.

Starring the likes of Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, the Fast and Furious movie franchise, distributed by Universal Pictures, boasts six films in total, with another due to be released next year. This big blockbuster film series centralises itself around illegal street racing and is loaded  with endless action packed scenes with roaring racing and car chase scenes in perfectly polished, modified sexy sports cars.

In this 3D - HD ride,  Universal Studios' Hollywood's Fast and Furious: Supercharged will place you right at the heart of the edgy and chilling illegal world of fast cars. With speed and time of the essence, you'll embark on a journey alongside familiar cast members from the Fast and Furious films to rescue one of your crew from an international crime cartel.

Speeding through the streets of Los Angeles, this hydraulic motion based ride will emulate speeds of a thrilling 120mph and will utilise a state of the art 3D audio system and 18.4k projectors to project 3D imagery onto a 360 degree 400 foot long screen - the longest screen in the world - to create an authentic and hyper-realistic  Fast and Furious experience.

“We’ve embarked on a new medium of immersive entertainment that brings to life the characters, hyper-realistic action adventure and custom-made effects to transport guests into the exciting world of Fast & Furious,” said Mark Woodbury, President of Universal Creative. “Our collaboration with Universal Pictures to bring this franchise to life through epic storytelling and technological breakthroughs continues to be a hallmark of Universal Studios Hollywood.”

Let's face it, the Fast and Furious films divide the masses like Marmite. However, whether you love or hate this movie franchise, there's no denying it has all the ingredients for the making of a perfect big thrill blockbuster inspired attraction. It's all in the name!
