Most Romantic Parks

If you’ve come all the way to beautiful Florida for your honeymoon, it would be a crime to miss out on all the rollercoaster fun in Orlando, don’t you think? And you don’t even need to sacrifice on romance to visit some of these incredible theme parks…

Discovery Cove

Discovery Cove Honeymoon

A day at Discovery Cove is often described as one of the most magical days of our customers’ holidays. Swimming with dolphins is a once in a lifetime opportunity - so it’s the perfect thing to do on your romantic Orlando honeymoon! There are also plenty of other elements that make Discovery Cove one of the most romantic parks in Orlando, such as the beautiful snorkelling in Grand Reef and the all-inclusive food and drink, which means you can be sipping cocktails in the relaxing Serenity Bay without a care in the world (and without having to get your wallet out!). Make your Orlando honeymoon extra special by upgrading your day with an unforgettable SeaVenture experience.

Magic Kingdom

Get that iconic honeymoon shot with a selfie in front of Cinderella’s Castle at The Magic Kingdom – one of the most romantic parks in the world. Experience the romance of Disney at the parades, shows and character meet and greets before taking on the rides together for the first time as a married couple. Make sure to catch the Wishes fireworks at the end of the day, they will definitely be one of the most memorable moments of your Orlando honeymoon!

Most Romantic Attractions

Outside of the parks, there are so many amazing attractions where the romance factor is high! Check out just two of our top pics for romantic things to do outside of the parks in Orlando…

The Orlando Eye

The Orlando Eye at sunset

Take a romantic spin on the Orlando Eye at sunset and take in the most spectacular 360⁰ panoramic views. Or, if you can make the timing work, we also recommend catching The Wishes fireworks over The Magic Kingdom, where you can enjoy them from 400ft up in the air – the most amazing views you can get of this iconic Orlando event.

Orlando Hot Air Balloon Ride

Orlando Hot Air Balloon Ride

Make sure you set an early alarm one morning to catch the beautiful Orlando sunrise from the tranquillity of a magical hot air balloon ride. It’s such a peaceful way to start your morning in what can be a very full on destination! Observe soaring birds flying above and below your hot air balloon as you glide above the city in an intimate, private group.

Most Romantic Hotels

The hotel on your honeymoon can make or break your trip, so it's important you get it right! There are dozens of beautiful luxury hotels to choose from in Orlando; here are just two that we love...

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney's Grand Floridian resort

Why have we chosen the Grand Floridian as one of the most romantic hotels in Orlando? Firstly, because it’s one of the most beautiful Walt Disney hotels you can find – with stunning Victorian-inspired décor, a sumptuous lobby where you’ll be serenaded with jazz and Disney tunes and a world-class spa and health club! Secondly, because although there are no adults-only resorts at Walt Disney World, this is one of the more high-end, ‘grown-up’ hotels you can find to enjoy a romantic honeymoon away from it all.

Lowes Portofino Bay

Portofino Bay

Modelled on the beautiful Italian town of Portofino, you’ll struggle to believe you’re even in Orlando at this chic and romantic European-style hotel. It’s got the big, luxurious hotel rooms you come to expect from the US though so you’ll feel like King and Queen of the castle as soon as you check in! If you really want to treat yourself, check into the Mandara Spa for a couple’s massage or just relax in the sauna and steam room for the total chill out experience.

Most Romantic Dining

Orlando is one of the best dining destinations in the world and there are hundreds of high-end romantic restaurants to choose from. Orlando is so much more than burgers! Here’s why…

California Grill

California Grill

California Grill in Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers one of the most incredible views over Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom park. Traditionally it’s popular as a restaurant to watch the fireworks from, so if you can make your reservations for this time frame, you’ll have the most amazing accompaniment to your dinner! On the menu is gourmet cuisine such as steamed mussels, oak-grilled filet of beef, sushi and an array of decadent desserts that will definitely make your mouth water. Don’t worry if you want to visit California Grill but can’t get reservations at the right time for the fireworks– if you show your receipt you can re-enter the restaurant at a later time to watch the stunning show.

Emeril’s

Emeril's

Located on Universal’s CityWalk, Emeril’s Restaurant is one of the fanciest restaurants in town! It’s a large candle-lit restaurant where the candles feel as if they’re floating above you to create a romantic and intimate atmosphere to enjoy a special occasion dinner. The highlight of the menu is the signature Banana Cream Pie, which you can linger over with a bottle of wine from the restaurant’s 12,000 bottle wine gallery. Bliss!

Thinking of heading to Orlando for the honeymoon of a lifetime?  Don’t forget to pre-book your Orlando theme park tickets before you leave to get the best price and avoid the long lines when you get there!
