Cobra’s Curse has finally opened at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Are you ready to face the King Cobra?

Updated: 7th July 2016

After a long wait, Cobra's Curse was officially unveiled on17th June! Eager guests got the chance to put themselves forwards to face the terrifying wrath of the Cobra King. The brand new multi-directional spin coaster offers something completely unique, claiming to be the only coaster like it in the world. So if you’re planning a holiday to Orlando soon, you’ll be one of the first lucky visitors to give it a try. Here's what you need to know...

Cobra's Curse at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

The incredible one-of-a-kind coaster will spin guests in different directions, before a thrilling free spin segment which ensures a different ride experience each time! Race along the 2,100-foot long track, as you twist and turn along the snake-like curves at up to 40mph. The ride will feature several steep drops, but this is by no means the scariest part of the adventure. You’ll ascend 70-feet into the air, before shooting forwards and narrowly escaping the enormous Cobra King’s 4-foot-long piercing fangs with just inches to spare! The 80-foot tall beast towers over you, as you’re forced to stop and gaze mercilessly into his sinister 3-foot-wide eyes.

Before boarding the ride (if you’re brave enough that is) you’ll have to face some of the King’s venomous friends! Get up close to several scaly species including Gaboon Vipers, Jameson’s Mamba’s and Angolan Pythons. There will also be a new Cobra’s Crypt Marketplace offering plenty of souvenirs and a Serpent’s Snacks area serving up ice cold refreshments and ‘Snake Egg’ sweets!
