It’s not just the Orlando attractions that get all the scary Halloween fun - Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights 2023 is just a few months away and tickets are now on sale! Known as Southern California’s Scariest Halloween Event, Halloween Horror Nights will be returning to Universal’s Los Angeles theme park from September 7th to October 31st, ready for you to share legendary scares with your scream squad.
If you’re in California this autumn and are up for a bit of a scare, we’d definitely recommend getting tickets for Halloween Horror Nights… if you dare!
This event will surely get your hair standing on end as you make your way through 8 terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, and the Terror Tram, full of scare actors just waiting to make you scream. We don’t know all the houses that will be making up the 2023 line-up for Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights just yet, but last year’s event featured houses including Universal Horror Hotel, The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare (a Universal Orlando Resort fan favourite), and MGM’s “Killer Klowns from Outer Space”.
But it’s the Terror Tram that really sets Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights aside from its Orlando counterpart. At night, the Backlot Studio Tour will come to life with horrors from the sets of Bates Motel, War of the Worlds and more. To make this experience even more unique, guests can disembark from the tram to see these scenes on foot, something that is usually only reserved for the VIP Experience. In 2022, the Terror Tram was expanded to include a finale that combined Jordan Peele’s Nope and Us on the Jupiter’s Claim set - we can’t wait to see if anything new will be added in 2023!
Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event so make sure you choose your night to scream in addition to your regular Universal Studios Hollywood tickets. But be warned… you should never go alone!
