There’s a lot of hype for Iron Gwazi, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay upcoming roller coaster, set to open Spring 2020.
Recently (March 9) the park shared that the final track pieces have been laid, meaning that we should get an opening date very, very soon (fingers crossed).

When it does eventually open, Iron Gwazi will plunge riders from a 206-foot tall peak into a 91-degree drop, and reach top speeds of 76 miles per hour. There will also be three inversions and over a dozen airtime moments. Paying homage to the wooden coaster it is replacing, Iron Gwazi features a hybrid wood and steel design, showcasing restored elements of Gwazi too.
The park has also shared that testing is now underway for the roller coaster, posting this video on Twitter.
Iron Gwazi will be North America’s tallest and the world’s fastest and steepest hybrid coaster, when it opens later this year.
