Food

The Walt Disney World Spending Money could help to cut the costs of one of the biggest holiday expenses – eating out! With the Spending Money card being accepted at all Disney-owned restaurants within the resort and at most dining locations in Disney Springs, there is so much to choose from.

Be Our Guest Dining

Why not use your Disney Spending Money to treat the whole family to a meal at one of the most famous restaurants at Walt Disney World? At Be Our Guest restaurant, where the average price of a main meal at lunch is $16.99, you could dine out for ‘free’ by redeeming your Spending Money cards against the meal. Be Our Guest is one of the most iconic and elegant of Disney’s restaurants, themed on the Beauty and the Beast film and offering 3 stunning dining locations. If Be Our Guest doesn’t appeal, there are plenty of other dining locations where you can get a delicious main meal for less than $20.

Dole Whips at Disney

If you'd prefer to use your extra Spending Money for snacks, Pineapple Dole Whips are less than $5 at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park – that means your Disney Spending Money could give you 4 FREE Dole Whips on your holiday. More of a Mickey ice cream fan? You could get 3 of those famouse ice cream bars (at just under $6 each) over the course of your holiday instead.

Drinks

The price of alcohol in the US is generally slightly higher than what we would pay in the UK, which makes the Disney Spending Money a real life-saver if you’re planning on having a few nights out on your trip. Head to one of Disney Springs newest bars, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, for a relaxed night in this 1940’s-inspired hangar transformed into a bar. Speciality cocktails start at $10.75 while certain lagers are available for $7.75, which means your Spending Money could get you a few drinks. Bar snacks and tapas are also available if you want to make a real evening of it.

Shopping

World of Disney

The majority of the shops and restaurants in the Disney Springs area also accept Disney Spending Money, meaning you could use your Spending Money for souvenirs or gifts for your children (or yourself!). No one who visits the World of Disney store could resist the Disney cuddly toys, and luckily the smaller plush toys in all your favourite Characters are usually priced under $20. If you have children in your group, why not give them the freedom to choose and pay for their own souvenir with their Disney Spending Money (if they can make their mind up that is!)?

Disney Springs

Aside from World of Disney, there are a whole range of famous brands to shop at with your Disney Spending Money. We recommend checking which shops and restaurants take the cards before making your purchases.
