1. Incredible Attractions

A family of four are sat in a ride vehicle with two rows of seats painted like the car from Scooby Doo. In the background there is the gang from Scooby Doo and Velma is whispering in the ear of a ghost with its arms held in the air.

Abu Dhabi is nothing short of a theme park lover’s paradise. Yas Island, Abu Dhabi boasts four world-class parks, offering thrills and entertainment suitable for all ages. But that’s not all, add Yas Mall for a premier, luxurious shopping experience, Yas Marina for waterfront dining and relaxation and Yas Marina Circuit for high speed Formula 1 excitement.

Yas Island’s top attractions are perfect for families and adventure-seekers alike. Warner Bros. World™ is a dream for film fans, bringing iconic characters to life with immersive rides and shows. SeaWorld Yas Island offers a spectacular insight into marine life, blending education with entertainment. Ferrari World is a haven for speed lovers, home to record-breaking roller coasters like Formula Rossa. Last but not least, Yas Waterworld features a range of thrilling slides, wave pools and some relaxing lazy rivers.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed and laid back experience, we recommend the Big Bus Abu Dhabi Hop-On Hop-Off Tour. This convenient service makes it easy to get around while offering audio commentary in multiple languages, providing fascinating insights into the UAE’s rapid development and rich cultural heritage.

2. Immaculate Hotels

A grand hotel which looks big enough to be a palace with fountains in front, some about 10 foot tall and one in the centre approximately 20 feet tall. The building is lit in the night time a golden colour, as are the fountains. There is a small dome on the roof which is coloured blue.

Abu Dhabi offers a fantastic range of hotels to suit every budget, ensuring you can find the perfect base for your trip. For those seeking ultimate luxury, the iconic Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental is an unrivalled choice, offering gorgeous rooms, world-class dining (including Hakkasan Abu Dhabi), and breathtaking beachfront views. If you’re looking for something more affordable, the Al Raha Beach Hotel is a great option, providing excellent amenities and a relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price.  Mid-range travellers might enjoy the Radisson Blue Hotel & Resort, known for its stunning views and family-friendly facilities. Another benefit of this hotel is that it’s located merely minutes from the world renowned Yas Island parks.

3. Incredible Location

There is a gorgeous sleek tiled floor which is so clean you can see a reflection of people in it. There's a woman wearing a robe which covers her whole body to be respectful to the culture. There are pillars which are white and gold with paintings of flowers growing up them and on the other side it is the same, with white domes on top of the pillars.

This city is located in the UAE, which is around a 14-18 hour flight from Australia. While this might seem like a long journey for a short visit, its location offers a unique advantage. Abu Dhabi is just a 1 hour and 34 minutes drive from the vibrant city of Dubai. This makes it easy to spend a few days experiencing Dubai’s glitz and glamour before heading southwest along the UAE coast to explore the rich cultural heritage and traditional charm of Abu Dhabi.

4. Hot Hot Hot!

There are six camels laying down in the Arabian desert's sand. They have saddles on them and a woollen patterned mat for comfort. Each of them are tied to another camel.

One of the best things about Abu Dhabi is its incredible weather, with sunshine all year around and a “never-ending summer” feel.

However, it’s important to note that Abu Dhabi can experience severe heat, specifically from June to September, when temperatures soar to highs of 42°C and lows of 28°C. If you’re planning to explore Yas Island or enjoy the city’s amazing outdoor attractions, we recommend visiting between November and March.
