Our guide to Glasgow Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour
Embark on your Glaswegian adventure! Choose any stop to hop on, and at historic George Square, explore the elegant City Chambers, adorned with more marble than the Vatican. Transition from a 19th-century marvel to a medieval gem with the next stop being Glasgow Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century.
Renowned as one of the world's friendliest cities, Glasgow invites you to engage with the lively market, the Barras, a cherished institution, to engage in conversation with the locals. Peruse the diverse assortment of curiosities, all while enjoying the unique Glaswegian sense of humour. For a more conventional shopping experience, rejoin the bus and explore the bustling boulevards near Argyle Street.
Glasgow's vibrant music scene takes centre stage with our multilingual commentary on the music tour. Ride along the River Clyde, hopping off at the SEC, affectionately known as the Armadillo for its cutting-edge design resembling the armoured mammal.
Navigate to the city's enchanting West End on the top deck, capturing fantastic photos of the gothic spires of the University of Glasgow. Disembark to wander the historic campus, evoking a cinematic Harry Potter atmosphere. As the University sits atop a hill, relish breathtaking urban views.
With its literal translation as the "dear green place," Glasgow boasts abundant verdant spaces. Kelvingrove Park, among the finest, awaits as you hop off next to it. Explore the adjacent Kelvingrove Art Gallery, displaying over 9000 artefacts and paintings—all for the cost of a completely free ticket!
Craving a cuppa after your journey? Good news! Our bus conveniently drops you off outside the stylish Willow Tea Rooms. Indulge in a traditional afternoon tea while admiring the graceful lines of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s designs, a hallmark of both the café and the city itself.
