Join a once-in-a-lifetime whale-watching adventure in Brisbane’s Moreton Bay, where majestic Southern Humpback whales migrate to frolic in the warm waters.

Your journey begins with a hotel transfer to Redcliffe Jetty, where you’ll set sail with Brisbane Whale Watching, one of only three operators holding an exclusive government permit for whale tours in this region. This ensures an uninterrupted experience as you marvel at these incredible creatures up close.

Led by trailblazing Captain Kerry Lopez, the only female Captain in the South Pacific to own and command a whale-watching expedition, the tour guarantees sightings of Humpback whales and offers the chance to spot other marine life in the Moreton Bay Marine Park.

Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch onboard while witnessing awe-inspiring whale behaviours.

The tour concludes at 2:30 PM with hotel drop-offs.

Departs:

Daily from June to October (weather permitting).

Start times:

Hotel pick-ups commence from Brisbane City accommodation between 07:50 am and 08:30 am. The tour departs at 10.00 am (boarding from 09:00 am)

Duration:

It takes around 7-8 hours, including hotel pick-up and drop-off. The cruise is approximately 5 hours.

Terms and conditions for Whale Watch with Brisbane Transfers

  • Brisbane Whale Watching tours are always subject to sea conditions. The team constantly monitors the weather and responds professionally to any changes. Guest comfort and safety is always the priority. Should a cruise be cancelled due to tide and/or weather conditions, a seat on the next available cruise will be offered or a full refund will be given.
  • Dress warmly and wear flat shoes. If you wish to spend time on the outside decks of the vessel, you may like to wear a light waterproof wind jacket.
  • Please note the vessel is Wheelchair accessible, however the bus transfer does not have wheelchair access. 
  • A licensed bar, snack and souvenir counter is available. 
  • Boarding commences at 9.00 am for a 10.00m departure
  • The tour returns to the Redcliffe Jetty at 2.30 pm. Hotel drop-offs are between 04:00 pm and 05:00 pm.
  • Children aged between 4-14 years pay a child price.
  • Please note - Infants aged 0-3 years will be charged $45.00 for the bus transfer service. This is payable locally. 

*Cancellation Policy: 

Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 24 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 24-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
