Could you be our ‘Epic’ Theme Park Tester?

Tickets for Universal Orlando’s mind-blowing new theme park Universal Epic Universe are now on sale! But how would you like to go there for free, as our Theme Park Tester?

We’re offering you the chance to visit Universal Epic Universe and all of the other parks at Universal Orlando Resort over the course of a week. We’ll need you to take lots of photos, videos and notes as you go, so you can share the ‘best bits’ from your perspective, as our Theme Park Tester. 

 

What’s involved in being a Theme Park Tester?

For each theme park, you’ll need to review and document things like:

  • Best rides
  • Best snacks
  • Best photo opportunities
  • Best entertainment offerings

 

What are the benefits of being our Theme Park Tester?

Firstly, we want you to have fun so all of the below benefits will apply to you AND a friend:

  • You’ll get to visit all of the amazing theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort for free!
  • We’ll pay for your flights and transfers
  • We’ll pay for you to stay at an onsite hotel
  • We’ll provide you with $1000 of spending money (each)

 

What are the requirements?

To be shortlisted for the opportunity to become our Theme Park Tester for a week, you’ll need to demonstrate that you’re:

  • Ready and willing to ride all the rides! From Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit to Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl, we want your ratings on scariness, loopiness and everything else you’d look for in a great theme park ride.
  • Camera ready! Some of your photos and videos may be used on the Attraction Tickets social media channels, as well as our website, so you’ll need to show us that you’re happy in front of as well as behind the camera.
  • Happy to travel! You’ll need to be in Orlando, Florida for a full week so will need to be able to take the time off to travel and have an up-to-date passport, ESTA and valid travel insurance for travel in 2025.

 

What is the application process?

To apply for this role, all you need to do is send a short video (no longer than 3 minutes) explaining why you think you’d be a great Theme Park Tester, via email to [email protected]. Please note: applications will close on Friday 15th November 2024 and anyone applying after this date will not be considered.

 

How will the Theme Park Tester be chosen?

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of internal experts at Attraction Tickets, who will then decide who will be our Theme Park Tester by Friday 10th January 2025.

 

Terms and conditions

Applications close at 11:59 on 15/11/24 and anyone applying after this date will not be considered. The successful applicant will be notified via email no later than 10/01/25 and will have 5 days to accept the offer, or it will be forfeited and offered to another entrant.

The successful applicant and 1 friend will receive a 7-night stay at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel (sharing 1 standard room), 7 days’ entry to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, 1 days’ access to Universal Epic Universe, return direct economy flights to Orlando, airport transfers to and from your hotel, and a total of $2000 spending money. This cannot be modified and there is no cash alternative. Any costs incurred over and above the $2000 spending money will need to be covered by the winner. The successful applicant will not be able to collaborate with any other brands during this trip.

The trip will take place in 2025 with dates to be agreed upon between AttractionTickets.com and the successful applicant.
