From LEGOLAND to Disney World, Mickey to Minions – customers asked to cast their votes on favourite Orlando attractions
Attraction Tickets Direct has launched its annual search to find Britain’s best loved rides, attractions, parks and characters in the ‘Sunshine State’.
The Orlando Awards cover everything from favourite theme park character to the best water ride and two new categories for 2015 reflect emerging highlights in Orlando holidays, to include favourite restaurants and most popular animal encounters.
The awards are sponsored by The Sun and are hosted by Attraction Tickets Direct, the UK’s number one seller of tickets to all attractions in Orlando. All voters will be entered into a prize-draw to win an Orlando holiday worth £5,000.
Parks such as Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Universal’s Islands of Adventure will be competing for the top spot of ‘Best Theme Park in Florida’ while ‘Best New Attraction’ includes Falcon's Fury at Busch Gardens, Heartlake City at LEGOLAND Florida and Raptor Encounter at Universal's Islands of Adventure.
In the ‘Best Non-Theme Park Attraction category, the three new Merlin attractions at I-Drive 360 (Madame Tussauds, The Orlando Eye and SeaLife) will go head to head with the likes of Kennedy Space Center and Boggy Creek Airboat Rides.
All voters will be entered into a prize-draw for an Orlando holiday worth £5,000, including flights, accommodation, car hire and theme park tickets.
