This week marks the 20th anniversary of the iconic show and, we thought, what better way to celebrate than with a 20% discount on our Sex and the City tour when you book throughout June? Now you don’t have to just sit at home sipping Cosmopolitans to live the Sex and the City lifecycle, you can be there yourself exploring more than 40 iconic locations from the series.
Take a tour around New York in a luxury air-conditioned coach as your guide points out or stops at locations such as the bar owned by Aiden and Steve, the cupcake shop where Carrie spills the beans about her crush on Aidan to Miranda and, of course, THAT brownstone stoop from Carrie’s studio apartment.
Some of the neighbourhoods that the tour covers include Midtown – including the jewellery shop where Charlotte picks her engagement ring – Greenwich and SoHo – the location of Carrie’s ‘stoop’ and Aiden’s furniture company – and the Meatpacking District, scene of many dining and shopping mishaps and highlights throughout the series. If your knowledge of the series is a little rusty (don’t worry, it has been 14 years since it ended!) then don’t worry; in between stops you will be played clips from the series which will refresh your memory of the locations on the tour.
Our personal favourite stop was at the cupcake store Magnolia Bakery, and you can bet we indulged in some classic American buttercream cupcakes while we were there! But don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what other guests on the tour thought of the experience…
Please note that due to the risqué content of this tour, this is strictly an 18+ experience and ID may be requested when you join the tour. Advanced reservations are also required, so make sure you take advantage of this limited time offer! Click here to book now.
And, after the tour, why not take in a bit of shopping in true Carrie Bradshaw style at Woodbury Common? With between 25% and 65% discounts on designer items including Jimmy Choo, Coach, Dolce and Gabbana and Fendi you can even live the New York fashionista lifecycle on a budget.
