Busch Gardens' Cheetah Hunt - The New Ride
Get Ready for the Launch of the Cheetah...
4,429 feet of track, 0 to 60 mph in seconds and a 130 foot plunging descent makes Busch Garden’s Cheetah Hunt the most electrifying ride anticipated for 2011.

It is no revelation that roller coaster junkies make their way to central Florida, the roller coaster capital of the world, in their millions to seek their chills and thrills on numerous crazy adrenaline surging track rides. For 2011 however, there’s only one coaster the world over is gearing up for and that is the  Busch Gardens’ Cheatah Hunt.

Bush Gardens, in Tampa Bay, has already firmly secured its position on the roller coaster map, claiming ownership not only to the biggest number of coasters in one park within the region, but to the highest. With the addition of Cheetah Hunt, Busch Gardens will now monopolise the fastest quota in the region as well.

Doing exactly as its name claims, Cheatah Hunt mimics the movement of this agile hunting predator chasing its prey. The train swoops low and close to the ground, soaring past areas in the park that are made to resemble the surroundings of a real jungle cat. The simulated cheetah leaps and bounds along the Serengeti plains and cuts through Nairobi at lightening speeds. The ride features three 0 – 60 miles per hour launches, a steep climb of more than ten storeys beyond the African landscape and an immense 130 foot drop into a subterranean trench. Busch Gardens, the innovative zoo style theme park, is genius at taking inspiration from close observation of the animals its host to and incorporating their findings into their rides, so riders be warned - Cheetah Hunt is not for the faint hearted. But, if you’re an adrenaline junky with the desire to be jolted, get the best firsthand experience money can buy and journey to Busch Gardens for a Cheetah Hunt.
