On Friday, it was announced that the Hulk Ride at Universal's Islands of Adventure will be closing on the 8th September until summer 2016. This closure is due to necessary refurbishment and improvements to the popular ride which will include work on the ride vehicles and storyline.
The ride has been open an astonishing 17 years, since the very beginning of Islands of Adventure. However, the park's creative team have confirmed it will remain a Hulk themed attraction, just with the addition of new and improved features. It currently features 7 twists, reaches speeds of 67 mph and has a 105-foot drop as well as beginning with an adrenaline filled launch sequence that's hidden from park guests on the ground to add a little extra mystery!
We're very excited to see the new refurbishments, which will add additional exhilarating thrills to this incredible ride! Keep checking back here for additional news or artwork as the refurbishment develops.
