An exciting new dining experience has launched at Walt Disney World, and if you love the Lion King (who doesn’t?) you’re going to absolutely love it! The Festival of the Lion King is one of the most popular shows at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and one you should definitely put on your must-see list. It features lots of familiar faces, impressive acrobatics and heart-warming hits from the movie. Now, Disney have introduced a new ‘Festival of the Lion King Dining Package’ to make the experience even more special.
You’ll start by having a delicious meal at Tiffins Restaurant. If you haven’t heard of Tiffins before, it’s one of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World. This is the place to go if you’re looking for something special. Tiffins is inspired by exploration and adventure, and you’ll find delicious dishes from all over the world.
With the new Festival of the Lion King Dining Package you can choose whether you’d like to visit Tiffins for lunch or dinner. You’ll enjoy a flavoursome 3-course meal that includes one appetiser, one main, one delicious dessert and a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.
So, what’s on the menu? Well, appetisers include spiced chickpea falafel, charred octopus and avocado & tomato salad. For the main course you can choose from dishes like succulent beef tenderloin, surf and turf or Kamo ramen which is made up of duck confit, soft-poached eggs, mushrooms, chilli-lime cashew and a spiced coconut broth.
Make sure you save some room for dessert as there’s plenty here to satisfy your sweet tooth. There’s a big selection of sweet treats on the menu, like whipped cheesecake, guava mousse and South American ganache.
Of course, that’s not all. Once you’ve finished your amazing meal (and trust us, the food really is amazing here!) you’ll receive special vouchers for reserved VIP seating at the Festival of the Lion King show. This means that you’re guaranteed the best seats in the house, so have your camera at the ready and be prepared to sing your heart out! You’ll even get a commemorative cast photo to take home as a souvenir.
These new dining packages require a separate ticket and are running for a limited time only. If you’re visiting Orlando between 13th August- 21st November it’s definitely worth checking out. You can even upgrade your dining package to include a unique safari tour through the African outback, where you can get up close to more than 30 beautiful wildlife species.
