There’s still so much to look forward to!
From returning attractions to seasonal festivities, the last two months of the year will be packed full of magic!

As we get closer to the end of the year, we’re all looking ahead to what will be coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in 2023, including the opening of TRON / Lightcycle Run and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, the return of Happily Ever After, and celebrations for the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary.

But before we get too excited about the year ahead, there is still so much to look forward to in the last two months of 2022!

The return of Fantasmic!

The long-awaited return of Disney’s Hollywood Studios nighttime show is finally here! That’s right, Fantasmic! is now delighting guests at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater for the first time since the pandemic.

The show has of course returned with the same music, performers and pyrotechnics that we know and love, with Mickey Mouse using the powers of his imagination (and a bit of help from some familiar faces) to defeat the Disney Villains. During the closure, the lasers, lighting and sound have all been upgraded to make the show bigger and better than ever before! An all-new show sequence has also been added, featuring Aladdin, Elsa, Moana, Mulan and Pocahontas, that features “stunts that have never been seen before on the Fantasmic! stage”.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens November 13th

If you’re looking for a way to cool off in the Florida sun, you’ll want to head to the ski resort-themed Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park when it reopens on November 13th. After an extended refurbishment, this snowy escape will return feeling frostier than ever thanks to the addition of Frozen theming in Tike’s Peak! This children’s play area will feature Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle, as well as Olaf and lots of cute little Snowgies to splash about with.

Be aware when making your plans that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will close for seasonal refurbishment on November 13th.
