Sneak Peek at the Mouth-Watering Menu for Voodoo Doughnut
Feast your eyes on these!
Check out the delicious doughnuts coming soon to Universal CityWalk…

Back in January, we shared the news that the famous ‘Voodoo Doughnut’ would be coming to the Universal Orlando Resort! If you’ve never heard of Voodoo Doughnut before, it’s a unique store that specialises in weird, wonderful and downright delicious doughnuts. The doughnuts became an instant sensation when the very first Voodoo Doughnut store opened in Portland back in 2003. This spring, Universal visitors will be able to enjoy these tasty treats, when a brand new store is unveiled at Universal CityWalk.

There will be more than 50 different types of doughnuts to choose from and we’re sure you’ll want to try more than one! Universal have given a sneak peek at some of the unique flavours on offer. Here’s what you can expect…

Voodoo Doll

Voodoo Doughnut

As you can probably guess by the name, this is the signature offering at Voodoo Doughnut. The idea of this iconic doughnut was thought up long before the first Voodoo Doughnut store even opened. Filled with raspberry jelly and covered in dark chocolate frosting, this doughnut is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Each one varies slightly in decoration, but all of them feature the classic pretzel ‘stake’. This definitely deserves a place on your Instagram!

Bacon Maple Bar

If you’re the kind of person who drizzles maple syrup all over your bacon, then this is the doughnut for you. Start the day off well with this alternative breakfast- a doughnut covered in maple icing with crispy bacon on top.

Oh Captain, My Captain

Voodoo Doughnut

Calling all cereal lovers! This doughnut is covered with creamy vanilla frosting and a sprinkling of the famous Captain Crunch cereal, which gives it a nice fruity twist. If cereal is your favourite meal of the day, you’ve got to try it.

Portland Cream

Voodoo Doughnut

This is one of the very first Voodoo Doughnut creations ever made and as you can probably tell by the name, it’s also a tribute to the city of Portland where the idea for Voodoo Doughnut was born. This delicious doughnut is stuffed with Bavarian cream and topped with chocolate frosting and 2 eyes!

Grape Ape

Voodoo Doughnut

You might think that a doughnut covered with grape dust and lavender sprinkles wouldn’t be much of a hit, but you’d be wrong! This unusual creation was nearly cut from the original Voodoo menu, but when the customers made a huge plea for it to stay, it was kept and has become a fan favourite ever since. Rumour has it, that some fans have even gotten tattoos in honour of their love for Grape Ape!

That’s not all though. From the 'Traditional Glazed Old Fashioned' to the simply put ‘No Name’, there will be plenty more fantastic flavours waiting for you when Voodoo Doughnut opens this spring.
