On select days throughout November and December, Mickey Mouse himself will be throwing an extra-special Christmas celebration at Magic Kingdom Park. The Party is a separately ticketed event which takes place after normal park hours and tickets are on sale now! This event is likely to sell out due to limited availability, so make sure you book early if you’re planning to visit.
So what will you find at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Christmas is taken to the next level when the doors of Magic Kingdom open for Mickey’s extra special holiday celebration. Take in the magic of the lights, shimmering Cinderella Castle and even snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A as you get into the festive spirit with Mickey and pals!
As you would expect, all the Disney Characters are dressed up to the nines for this special occasion in festive colours of red, green and plenty of shimmering golds and silvers! Make sure you stop for the chance to share a hug or a smile with your favourite Character – there will be more than 15 Character Meet and Greet experiences where you can snap a photo or get the autograph of some of Disney’s most iconic personalities as they spread the Christmas sparkle throughout the Park.
Don’t miss your favourite Characters again as they take to their floats for the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Festive gingerbread men, elves and mesmerising dancers join the Disney gang to create a world of festive cheer as they make their way down Main Street, U.S.A on spectacular colourful floats. Keep your eyes peeled for appearances from Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Anna and Elsa, Olaf, Pooh, Tigger and the Seven Dwarves!
Bu that’s not in for magical Character appearances – far from it actually! The big finale is definitely Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration – a stage show which takes place in front of Cinderella Castle featuring all your favourite Characters singing iconic Disney Christmas songs.
In all the excitement of the Characters though, don’t forget the rides and the special treats! Most of the popular attractions at the Park will remain open for the Party and the lines are likely to be much shorter than during the day due to the limited availability of tickets. Don’t miss the opportunity to try out some of your favourite rides after dark or to gorge on delicious treats like snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies and hot choc.
