A water park in winter? Yes, it’s possible!
Heading to Tenerife for some winter sun in February? Then you won’t want to miss a visit to Siam Park, voted one of the best water parks in the world.

There’s a reason why Siam Park continues to top the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards for the best water park in the world. Tenerife is a fantastic location for holiday-makers seeking some winter sun, which means the island’s famous water park enjoys great year-round weather for guests to enjoy.

Here’s why we think you should add a trip to Siam Park to your Tenerife winter holiday!

Heated Water

Even though the weather in Tenerife never gets too chilly (especially compared to our freezing British winters!), the water used in Siam Park is actually heated to a toasty 25 degrees celsius. This means that you’ll be able to enjoy the various attractions without getting too cold, even when the outside air is slightly cooler.

Fun fact: At the end of the day, the water is then recycled to water the plants in the gardens

Wetsuits

Although the temperatures can reach 20 degree celsius on sunny days in February, you may still wish to wear a wetsuit while you’re in the park. Siam Park does have wetsuits that you can pay extra for to hire, or you can also bring in your own one if you wish. They’re short wetsuits, so you won’t get too hot, however they can be a great option for those moments where you’re moving in between attractions.

Open Year Round

Unlike many water parks, Siam Park is actually open 365 days a year. This means that during a winter sun trip to Tenerife, this is one of the attractions you can rely on being open. Many guests report that February is a great time to visit the park, thanks to the smaller crowds, moderate weather, and varied attractions within the park. Why not add it to your list now?

Something For Everyone

Although this isn’t specifically geared towards the colder months, the variety of attractions available at Siam Park makes it a must-do for any family holiday. Thrill-seekers will love the record-breaking slides and jaw-dropping plunges, while those looking for a more relaxed experience will make good use of the lazy Mai Thai River or the world-famous Siam Beach. Relax, have fun, and take pleasure in knowing that these world-class experiences cannot be had anywhere else.

Siam Park is open from 10am - 5pm during the winter season, which runs from November 11 - April 30.
