Our guide to New England Aquarium Whale Watch Cruise
This New England Aquarium Whale Watch tour will take you out on a high-speed catamaran, the fastest, most comfortable way to view the ocean’s most fascinating and magnificent creatures.
You will visit Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary which is a rich feeding ground for a variety of marine animals such as dolphins (including white-sided dolphins), and sea birds
The Sanctuary is also home to several kinds of large whales, including humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, pilot whales and the endangered right whales.
Your catamaran has three outside decks, meaning you have optimum viewing en route and inside it's climate controlled with cushioned seating, state-of-the-art sound and video systems, a New England Aquarium Education Station and a galley offering food and beverages for purchase.
Each vessel has naturalists on board, who are trained by the New England Aquarium.
These experts will share their knowledge on the behaviours, conservation status and migration patterns of the local marine life and you will also be taught how to identify various different species and learn how scientists keep track of individual animals.
