If you’re visiting Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex between December 15th and December 30th 2023 you’ll get to experience the return of Holidays in Space! In addition to all the usual attractions, like the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, Apollo/Saturn V Center, Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, and Space Shuttle Atlantis, there will be holiday entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Must-do attractions throughout the holiday season include:
- Starflake’s Holiday Voyage - this brand-new projection mapping show on the outside of Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex will take you on a journey through the stars and past the Vehicle Assembly Building, the International Space Station, and James Webb Space Telescope. The show will take place nightly, 10 minutes before the visitor complex closes.
- Rocket Tree Trail - head behind the Orbit Cafe to stroll among 7 different space-themed Christmas trees, the perfect attraction for some holiday photos.
- Holiday Decor - as soon as you enter the visitor complex you’ll be greeted by the iconic NASA ‘meatball’ turned into a holiday ornament, and the decorations don’t stop there. There’ll also be a 50-foot tree lit up with more than 61,000 lights, and six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers.
- Family Activities - head to the Atlantis West Pavilion for games of cornhole, connect four, and galactic miniature golf.
