The two 18-hole miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World Resort have two very different (and dedicated!) themes. The first course, Disney’s Fantasia Gardens is based upon the classic Disney animated film Fantasia and features 5 fun and fabulous scenes with everything from ballet dancing Ostriches to hippos in tutus. Each hole kicks off with a musical quote and par level.
‘Real-sized’ golfers will recognise the layout, with sand traps, bunkers, water hazards and sloping greens aplenty, but there’s also plenty of surprises to keep you entertained along the course, including fountains, crazy obstacles and even broomsticks which spurt water on you if you get too close! Enjoy your game of mini-golf to the backdrop of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
Over at Disney’s Winter Summerland it’s Christmas all year round for Santa’s off-duty elves! There are two separate 18-hole golf courses divided into 2 distinct camps: The Summer Course and The Winter Course. On the summer course, there’s sandcastles, palm trees and melting snowmen to navigate as you test your pro golf skills. On The Winter Course putt your way around Squirty the Snowman in your shorts and t-shirt and try not to get too wet! On the last hole, there’s even a special message from the big man himself, Santa Claus.
Normally, a game of mini-golf costs $14 for adults and $12 for kids, and can easily fill a few hours on a non-park day, or round off a great day with a morning spent at one of the parks re-visiting all your favourites!
