Meet Santa, listen to carollers, have fun in the snow and more!

ICON Park is the home of Christmas on International Drive this year, with all the festive fun kicking off on December 1st! The holiday season begins with a lighting ceremony of the official I-Drive District holiday tree, which stands 50-foot tall, where residents and tourists alike are invited to join local dignitaries in celebration.

But that’s only the start! Here’s everything you need to know about visiting ICON Park this December.

Santa Workshop Experience

Back again for another year is the Santa Workshop Experience, where your little ones can meet Santa for a traditional holiday photo shoot in front of his Christmas tree (and to let him know what’s on their Christmas list of course!).

As well as a professional keepsake photograph, kids who take part in the experience can get a free ride on the Promenade Carousel, and a free flight on The Wheel in one of their festive capsules for a bird’s eye view of all the festive lights across Orlando. You can even connect to the Bluetooth speakers to listen to your favourite Christmas songs as you ride.

The Wheel Light and Music Show

A ride on The Wheel is the perfect way to see Orlando at night, especially when it’s aglow with Christmas lights, but The Wheel itself makes up part of this festive skyline. Once the sun has set, take a seat on ICON Park’s centre lawn and look up to see this 400-ft high landmark lit up in greens and reds in a magical light show, in time with some Christmas tunes.

Nightly Snowfall

Yes that’s right, snow in Florida! Okay, it’s not real snow, but it’s still just as fun! From 7-8pm every night there’ll be a flurry of snow on the lawn that will add an extra touch of magic to your visit.

Christmas Carollers

A classic touch of Christmas charm! Listen to some traditional carols as you eat, drink, play and shop.

While you’re at ICON Park, make sure you stop by one of the delicious restaurants like Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, Yard House or Brother Jimmy’s BBQ. To make your visit even more special, purchase a 10 Attraction Play Pass to experience Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE, the Museum of Illusions and more!
