Christmas Town at Busch Gardens is a long-held tradition that is returning this year for its tenth year bigger and better than ever, with brand new experiences for the whole family to enjoy. Every day, beginning November 14th, guests can experience the magic and joy of Christmas when they visit Christmas Town, home to Santa Claus and Rudolph. Best of all, there’s no extra cost for this special seasonal event, as it’s included with regular admission. There are even extended park hours until 10pm on select nights so you have time to experience all the festive entertainment!
Meet and Greets
Santa’s North Pole Experience, presented by Coca-Cola
As he prepares for the biggest day of the year, Santa has set up his workshop at Busch Gardens, where he’s greeting guests along with his jolly elf guides for a unique, interactive experience. Santa’s sleigh is parked outside the workshop too, ready to be the backdrop for your seasonal selfies.
It’s not just about Santa though, as joyful songs will fill the air and holiday tales will come to life during Storytime with Mrs Claus.
Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland
Where Santa goes, his trusty red-nosed reindeer isn’t far behind! Guests can meet Rudolph, along with Bumble and Clarice, at Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland, located in Pantopia.

Holly Jolly Express
All aboard for Christmas cheer! The Serengeti Express has had a festive makeover! Hop on to this tinsel-adorned train and take a loop around the park - you can spot giraffe, zebra, antelope and more while singing along to the favourite songs of the season.
Entertainment and Shows
Christmas on Ice
Busch Gardens’ longest-running holiday show is back at the Moroccan Palace Theater. This unmissable winter wonderland on ice showcases some incredible feats of skating prowess set to classic holiday songs that you know and love. This a truly unmissable show!
Three Kings Journey
On select nights from November 18th to January 8th, settle in for dinner at the Dragonfire Grill listen to a musical tale of the three wise men’s famed journey to Bethlehem.
NEW! Holiday in the Sky
Watch from the Festival Field as the sky is lit up with the reimagined Holiday in the Sky Fireworks! The show is bigger and better than ever, with new dancing water fountains, a new soundtrack of holiday tunes, and some of the biggest fireworks!
Holiday in the Sky will take place every Saturday and select other nights during the event.
NEW! Christmas with the Celts
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between December 16th and December 25th, guests can enjoy a captivating mix of classic Christmas carols and Irish dancing at the Stanleyville Theater. This spirited and energetic live performance is brought to life by a renowned group of vocalists, dancers and musicians who will transport guests straight to Ireland.
Elmo’s Christmas Wish
Cookie Monster, Grover, Rosita and Zoe are helping Elmo to find his Christmas Wish, and you and your little ones can help them too! This is the perfect show for anyone with younger children, so make sure you stop by the Sesame Street Safari of Fun.
NEW! Park-Wide Entertainment
As guests walk through the park they’ll be mesmerised by dazzling decorations and lights. At the Serengeti Overlook building, an enchanting musical light and projection show will run every 15 minutes starting from 6pm. In the new Land of Sweets, the Sugar Plum Ballerina Stiltwalker and her Cavalier soldier will be greeting guests as they go by, joining the Sugar Plum Princess in a magical new realm. Meanwhile, in the heart of Jungala, a 32-foot-tall Christmas tree will be surrounded by a winter wonderland of red and white.
Festive Food and Drink
All these festive activities are sure to have you working up an appetite, and the Christmas Town Village is here to help! This delicious destination is full of cabins serving up drinks and dishes, including all-new treats like:
- Wild Mushroom Tart with Boursin Cheese Crema
- Braised Beef and Roasted Garlic Smashed Potato
- ‘Decorate your own’ cookies
- Wine and Chocolate Truffles
And of course, there are Christmas classics like hot chocolate, gingerbread, snickerdoodles and panettone bread pudding.
