The Battle of Britain Memorial
The Battle of Britain Memorial is dedicated to the heroic and selfless deeds of the men who won the Battle of Britain, 10 July to 31 October 1940. The central figure sits on a propeller boss surrounded by the badges of all the Allied squadrons and other units that took part in the Battle. The blades of the propeller are set into the ground, making the memorial as striking from the air as it is for the visitor on the ground. From the memorial, you'll have stunning views of the White Cliffs and the English Channel.

Overlooking the River Thames, Greenwich is a stunning World Heritage site bustling with fine maritime landmarks. See the Old Royal Naval College designed by Sir Christopher Wren, and the world-famous Cutty Sark, a fascinating 19th–century clipper ship.
River Thames Boat Ride

- Departure point: Bus Stop 1, Bulleid Way, Victoria, London SW1W 9SH Return Point: The coach part of your tour will end in Greenwich as you embark on your River Thames boat ride before disembarking at Embankment pier, where your day trip will end. Embankment Pier is just over the road from Embankment Underground station, where the District, Circle and Bakerloo lines go through, or just over the bridge from the vibrant South Bank area.
- Canterbury Cathedral will be closed on 13, 14, 15, 30 & 31 January.
- Infants aged 0-2 can join this tour for free however they must sit on the lap of a parent/guardian. If you would like a seat for your infant, please purchase a child ticket. We do not provide car seats.
- You must bring your E-ticket to join this tour.
