How to Use Your Disneyland® Paris FastPass®

If you are looking for speedier access to some of the most popular attractions at Disneyland® Paris, then you will need Disney Premier Access, formerly known as FastPass®. Disney Premier Access provides a dedicated fast lane where you can skip the regular queue, get on some of the most popular rides quicker, and save time during your visit.

What is FastPass® at Disneyland Paris?

FastPass was a way to reduce waiting times during your trip to Disneyland Paris. The pass gave you a dedicated time to ride popular rides, so you could skip the regular line and get on the rides faster.

FastPass and VIP FastPass are no longer available and have now been replaced by Disney Premier Access, a new way to make the most of your time in the Disney® Parks.

Is FastPass still available at Disneyland Paris?

Say goodbye to FastPass and hello to Disney Premier Access, as Disneyland Paris’ fast access pass has had a shiny new makeover. There are now two options for overtaking the regular queues: Disney Premier Ultimate or Disney Premier Access One.

How much is FastPass Disneyland Paris?

The cost of Disney Premier Access, the replacement for Fastpass, varies depending on the time of year you visit Disneyland Paris. The price of Disney Premier Access Ultimate starts from £75 (about €90) per person per day during off-peak times and goes up to £160 per person (around €190) for peak seasons*.

You can book Disney Premier Access Ultimate in advance through AttractionTickets.com alongside your Disney Hotel and Tickets package. If you’ve already booked your holiday, you can add Disney Premier Access Ultimate to your booking at any time by getting in touch with our Disneyland Paris team. 

Booking Disney Premier Access Ultimate in advance can help you manage your holiday budget, as you can spread the cost across multiple payments up to six weeks before your check-in date. All you need to pay at the time of booking is a £25 deposit per room.

Paying for these fast-track passes in advance means that you won’t need to buy it on the day when you’re in the Disney Parks. And, let’s face it, with food and drinks plus all the Disney merchandise on offer, there’s more than enough to tempt you while you’re there!

Is the Disneyland Paris Fastpass worth it?

It really depends on you and your budget for the holiday as to whether Disney Premier Access is worth it. It’s a personal preference. If you can afford it, it can help you save time and see more of the attractions. You might even get to go on your favourite rides more than once!

If you are travelling with family or friends and want to ride together, you will each need to buy Disney Premier Access. You don’t need to buy it for every member of your group - you can add as many as you like to your booking. This means that if there’s someone who isn’t keen on rides, you don’t need to buy them a pass.

Children under three don’t need their own Disney Premier Access, but they must be accompanied by an adult who has one to join the dedicated line.

If you are just spending one day at Disneyland Paris, then Disney Premier Access Ultimate can help you to fit more into your day and ensure that you don’t miss out on anything, making the most of the magic in the parks.

Just remember, Disney Premier Access gives you fast access to the attraction you choose but it doesn’t guarantee immediate access. You may still have to wait in line, but the line will be shorter than the regular line.

All the attractions have queues which are completely free of charge to join, so you can still experience everything for no extra cost other than the price of your park tickets.

If you are staying at a Disney® Hotel, you will be entitled to Extra Magic Time* where you have early access to the Disney Parks up to two hours before regular opening times. During these times, queues for certain rides and attractions may be shorter than usual.

Whether you choose to get Disney Premier Access or not, you’ll still have an amazing time at Disneyland Paris, making unforgettable memories with your nearest and dearest.

How does the Fastpass work?

It’s really easy to get the most out of your day in Disneyland Paris with Disney Premier Access Ultimate, previously known as Fastpass.

1. Buy Disney Premier Access through AttractionTickets.com in advance of your stay
2. Link your Disney Premier Access to the Disneyland Paris app, where a QR code will be generated. Your hotel booking will also show on the app, so everything is easy to access all in one place. There’s no need to print anything out, so you won’t lose anything
3. You don’t need to do anything else until you’re in the Disney Parks. Simply scan your QR code at the entrance to each attraction. You can use Disney Premier Access Ultimate once on each included ride
4. Go past the regular queue and into the fast lane. Then, all that’s left to do is enjoy your ride!

Rides offering the FastPass option

There are two incredible parks at Disneyland Paris: Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park. Disneyland Park is the traditional fairytale park where you’ll see the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Walt Disney Studios Park has rides and attractions based on the magic of the movies. You’ll find popular Disney franchises here, such as MARVEL and Pixar. There are rides offering Disney Premier Access at both parks.

In total, there are 16 attractions throughout Disneyland Paris which are currently included with Disney Premier Access (previously FastPass). You can use Disney Premier Access Ultimate once on each attraction whenever you want during your day in the Disney Parks.

Some of the most popular rides where you can use Disney Premier Access are Star Wars™️ Hyperspace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, and Big Thunder Mountain.

Disney Premier Access is only available for these rides and attractions. It can’t be used for Disney Character meetings. If you don’t have a two-park ticket, you can only use Disney Premier Access for the park you’re in.

How to make the most of your FastPass

Here are some top tips for making the most of Disney Premier Access Ultimate, the new version of FastPass.

Before you enter the Disney Parks:

• Use the map on the Disneyland Paris app to see where the rides are situated and note where your favourites are. Make a list of some absolute must-dos to make sure you don’t miss out on anything you had your heart set on

• Be sure to check height restrictions for rides you want to go on so that you don’t purchase Disney Premier Access for any little ones that aren’t tall enough to ride

   

When you’re in the Disney Parks:

• Use the information board at each park, which indicates the standard ticket and Disney Premier Access waiting times. The Disneyland Park board is near the Central Plaza, and the Walt Disney Studios Park board is close to the Mickey and Walt statues
• The wait time information is also available on the Disneyland Paris app, so you’ll have everything available at your fingertips, no matter where you are in the park
• Choose carefully – you’ll want to use Disney Premier Access when the wait times are longer to get the most benefit. Remember, if you choose Disney Premier Ultimate, there are no allocated time slots, so that you can be completely flexible
• There’s a checklist in the app that tracks the rides that you’ve already used Disney Premier Access on and those that are remaining

• Try not to wait too long before using your Disney Premier Access in case you don’t manage to fit in all your rides during the day. You can only use Disney Premier Access Ultimate for one day unless you pay for it again
