Buying online was excellent and tickets were 'gate ready' however, knocking a star off because the layout of the new style tickets makes them very long and they have to be folded to fit in a lanyard pouch. Universal will not scan the ticket if only the QR code is visible and will ask you to take the ticket out of the pouch, unfold it and show them the full ticket before they scan it. This can cause a delay at the gate if you've printed the tickets and used a lanyard pouch. This was not an issue with the old style tickets. Note, if you use digital tickets or link them to the Universal App they work perfectly. Just to beware if you like a physical copy.

Great water park, probably my favourite with great slides. Only downside is the convoluted way of getting there by parking in the Universal parking lot and having to catch a bus. It’s a lot of faff, and there’s a fair walk after that. Lockers are too small to use for free ones and there aren’t many of them so they go very quickly, the others you need to pay $20-25 for and need cash or a bank card, they won’t work by your phone. Otherwise a great day out

Great. Clean. Brilliant staff. Would recommend getting there early in August to get a sunbed. Also would recommend water shoes. They look ugly but I found they were easy to walk in, especially walking up the stairs. Not sure if the ground and sand were hot but the shoes protect your feet. Get the virtual queue time as soon as you get in the water park, then enjoy other things while waiting. Lockers were very expensive, $25 each. The showers are individual behind a locked solid door with their own separate changing compartment, big enough to take a couple of children in.

Fantastic place. The main area in front of the volcano is busy but if you look around there are some lovely quiet areas. This place is big so always use the volcano as a marker😂 There's lots of drop slides for the adrenaline junkies and lots of family slides. The tapping in and out to queue for rides is a brilliant idea.

Ticket purchase was easy and value for money. The bar codes easily scanned to allow all of the access that we expecting at Universal Volcano bay. This provided us with the required waterproof wrist bands for use at the water park.

Very disappointed with Volcano Bay. Extremely busy, queues for food, snacks and drinks. Up to 4 hours wait to go on some of the water slides. I don’t mind waiting my turn, but the wait times were ridiculous. Much preferred Aquatiqa.

Go in the morning - lots on offer, lovely waterpark but gets very busy from 1pm onwards. Great price ticket package.
