Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours – these give you the opportunity to escape the crowds and visit the parks outside of regular opening hours at no extra charge.

From September 2024 Through July 2026, refurbishments will occur in select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Please allow for extra travel time. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

From January 26, 2026, to early May 2026, the Bay Cove Pool, Bay Cove Water Play Area, and Bay Cove Pool Spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed for maintenance. The Contemporary Feature Pool, Water Play Area, and Spas, and the Bay Lake Pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy. Guests may see or hear construction until the work is completed in May.

I love this part best. We did this part twice. Tiana water ride we loved. We went back for the fireworks in the evening. I did Tron. This look terrifying. But something you have to do. And it was amazing in the dark.. we had a combine ticket. Which was just perfect. We made the most of every bit.. easy to access easier to use.
