At Universal Orlando Resort, the world of TV and film comes to life before your very eyes, thanks to the immersive VR experiences at Universal Studios.
What are VR rides?
Virtual reality rides allow guests to experience an immersive, multi-sensory adventure. These attractions usually don’t physically move very much but, due to a combination of impressive visuals and clever storytelling, riders can often feel like they are floating through the air!
Many of the rides at Universal Studios combine sight, sound and touch to create a complete, unique attraction adventure. The rides themselves do little more than sway gently from side to side, eliminating the high thrills and daredevil drops of big roller coasters, found elsewhere across the resort.
Who are VR rides suitable for?
Virtual reality experiences aren’t as intense as roller coasters, drop rides, or other tracked attractions., So VR rides can be more suitable for younger riders, those with health conditions, or guests who simply prefer gentler forms of excitement.
However, don’t be fooled! The VR technology is incredibly immersive and will trick your brain into thinking it’s experiencing a larger thrill. There are also other risk factors involved with these rides which Universal Studios clearly outline. You’ll have no problem discovering which VR rides are suitable for which guests, so you’re sure to find an attraction that fits you perfectly.
Virtual reality rides are a brilliant addition to your theme park adventure, and Universal Studios is packed full of these impressive experiences featuring all of your favourite on-screen faces. Let’s dive into our favourite VR rides at Universal Orlando Resort.
