Yas Island is home to the record breaking world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, which reaches optimal speeds of 149.1 mph (240 km/h)! This is not the only record breaker in this park, as Flying Aces flips you through twists and turns and holds the world’s tallest roller coaster loop title. It’s fair to say that Ferrari World is an adrenaline junkie’s playground!

Take a bite out of Italy in Ferrari World Yas Island in one of their six restaurants. Indulge in delicious Italian cuisine, based on Ferrari’s homeland. Whether you are looking for a sit down meal or a quick snack to fuel your day, here are some of the dining options you can tuck into!
Mamma Rossella
Soak up the true Italian atmosphere in this award-winning pasta and pizza restaurant. This is the first Middle Eastern restaurant to serve authentic Neapolitan pizza! You can choose to either sit inside or outside whilst dining on their delicious food. Not to mention, the restaurant is decorated with images of Mamma Rosella with Formula 1 Ferrari drivers, including Fernando Alonso!
Il Podio
This restaurant’s name is suitable for the tasty food served; Il Podio translates to The Podium in English, as their guests truly feel like winners. With incredible theming modelled on the real staff refectory at the Ferrari factory, you will feel as though you are part of the Scuderia Ferrari family as you tuck into Arabic, Indian, and Western cuisine at the different food stations and show grills.
Espresso Rosso
For all caffeine enthusiasts, this is the place to go. Grab a coffee in this authentic Italian coffee bar and indulge in a selection of freshly baked pastries or cool off from the heat with a gorgeous home-made gelato.
Officers Food Quarters
If you don’t feel like using valuable park time dining in a restaurant, head to the Officers Food Quarters for a speedy pit stop to refuel! Here you’ll find burgers, pizzas and sandwiches for you to enjoy in as little time as you like, saving time for you to head back onto your favourite rides!

Driving Experiences
Not only are there fantastic Formula 1 thrill rides, but there are also exciting driving experiences where you can actually get behind the wheel of these super cars! If your dream car is a bright red, flashy Ferrari, you should take part in the Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Driving Experience, with prices starting at AED 1295. Sit in the driver seat with a Ferrari-trained instructor to guide you!
If you don’t yet have a licence, or like us don’t quite trust yourself to race this luxury car at high speeds, you can also race around Yas Island in the passenger seat on the Luxury Ferrari Passenger Experience in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island, with prices starting from AED 895!
Go Karting
Want to feel as though you are racing in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This is the closest you can get as you sharpen your racing skills on an incredible 290m track in Ferrari World! Step aboard one of the high speed electric go karts. All you have to do to take part in this experience is arrive at the park early and sign up as this is a timed attraction! (All guests must be 150cm - 210cm and over the age of 13 years old).
Roof walk
Take your thrills to new heights on this roof walking experience! If you aren’t afraid of heights, the Iconic Roof Walk of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi experience should also be at the top of your bucket list. You will walk right beside the world’s largest Ferrari logo and see unparalleled views of the beautiful Yas Island. Safety is key, so an experienced guide will be with you every step and this experience operates seasonally.
When to Visit Yas Island
The best time of the year to visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is during the cooler months, November to April, with temperatures ranging from a maximum of 30°C to a minimum of 15°C. In contrast, the hotter months can see extreme temperatures reaching up to 42°C, making the cooler months a more pleasant choice for a visit. Especially If you are hoping to take part in the Iconic Roof Walk of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, as this experience is closed during the summer months.
What to Wear to Ferrari World
It is recommended for your comfort to wear appropriate clothing that covers your knees and shoulders. The dress code is smart casual.
