Over the last few years, Universal Monsters have become a staple of Halloween Horror Nights. Beginning in 2018 in Hollywood and 2019 in Orlando, there has been a Universal Monsters haunted house every year since, with different classic monsters featured each year such as Dracula, The Wolf Man, and The Phantom of the Opera.
Halloween Horror Nights 2024 is no different, but this time there’s an all-female cast of monsters introducing guests to an all-new terrifying storyline as they find themselves in the center of the ultimate battle between two unexpected alliances of classic female Universal Monsters. Fans will encounter Saskia Van Helsing, a new fearless huntress and daughter of revered Abraham Van Helsing – who killed Count Dracula by driving a stake through his heart and destroying his reign of terror.
Saskia now faces Dracula’s daughter, Countess Marya, who arose from the dead to seek revenge for her father and destroy the Van Helsing bloodline. With a mission to kill, Dracula’s daughter, from 1936’s Dracula’s Daughter, forms a deadly alliance with the She-Wolf, inspired by the 1946 film She-Wolf of London, and Anck-Su-Namun, from the 1932 film The Mummy – only to be intercepted by Saskia and an unlikely ally, The Bride of Frankenstein. The terrifying adventure will take guests on a journey between the hunted and the hunters in a life-and-death battle with only one bloodline left to survive.
Universal Monsters: Eternal Monsters at Universal Orlando Resort is truly an all-female creation, with the score even being composed by Emmy-nominated Sara Barone. Meanwhile at Universal Studios Hollywood, GRAMMY Award-winning SLASH has returned to compose his sixth score for a Universal Monsters house, and guests can pick up a limited-edition vinyl featuring all his original Halloween Horror Nights compositions throughout the event.
And there’s something else that makes this haunted house special at Universal Studios Hollywood! Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines will reside in Sound Stage 12 on the studio back lot, where some of the classic Universal horror movies like Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931) and The Bride of Frankenstein (1935).
Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines will be joining Ghostbusters, A Quiet Place, and Insidious at Halloween Horror Nights 2024, as well as some seriously spooky sounding original concept houses too. Book your tickets now for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando beginning August 30th and Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood beginning September 5th, and summon your scream squad!
