Check out our favourite themed hotels at Universal Orlando Resort…
Despicable Me Kids’ Suite
If you weren’t already in the kids’ good books simply for bringing them on an amazing theme park holiday to Orlando, you definitely will be after booking the Minions-themed suites in Lowes Portofino Bay. These colourful suites bring the magic of the Minion films to life and are designed to capture the excitement and playfulness of Gru’s laboratory.
Suites are made up of a private master bedroom for mum and dad and a separate room with 2 twin or bunk beds for the kids with Minion-themed beds that make going to bed almost as fun as being awake! Each room is decked out in custom Minions décor with plenty of room for all the family.
Jurassic Park Kids Suite
Calling all Jurassic Park fans, big and small, to Loews Royal Pacific Resort Suites! These rooms are fit for island royalty, with 2 large rooms separating the master bedroom from the adjoining themed kids’ room as well as a private bathroom and casual seating area.
Stylish, utilitarian theming pervades the room, with the kids’ beds decorated to look like gyrospheres on a carpet covered in epic dinosaur footprints. Even the door adjoining the kids to mum and dad’s room is modelled on the dinosaur enclosure (so perfect for keeping those wild things in!).
The Graceland Suite at The Hard Rock Hotel
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live like The King himself, now’s your opportunity to stay in the Elvis-inspired suite exclusively at The Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. This super-duper luxury suite would make for an incredible experience, whether you choose to stay for a few nights or enjoy your whole stay there.
The suite is divided up into a luxurious master bedroom, spacious living area including a baby grand piano and a bathroom with a roaring fire and jet jacuzzi bath overlooking the pool area. For entertainment, there’s a 65” TV and a work out area, record player and bar.
Volcano Side Rooms
This is not so much a themed room as a room where the theming from a park infiltrates into the room! The tropical vibes of Universal’s Volcano Bay seep into the rooms at Universal’s Cabana Bay in their Volcano Side rooms, which give an epic birds-eye view of the water theme park and it’s tikki theming.
Night and day, guests in these rooms can enjoy stunning views over the park – with blue skies over Krakatau volcano in the daylight and with bubbling red ‘lava’ at night. We definitely recommend paying a little more to experience the beauty of Volcano Bay every day.
