BREAKING NEWS!
This highly anticipated family attraction is here, becoming the eighth coaster in SeaWorld’s line-up

Great news for anyone heading to SeaWorld Orlando this summer, as you’ll be some of the first people to ride their brand-new rollercoaster! Penguin Trek officially opened on 7th July 2024, bringing the total number of coasters at the park to eight… they don’t call it the Coaster Capital of Orlando for nothing!

But unlike some of the other rides at SeaWorld Orlando, designed for the most daring of thrill seekers, Penguin Trek has been specifically designed with families in mind so that younger guests can join in on the excitement. Here’s all the details you need to know before riding!

Penguin Trek in Numbers

Penguin Trek is located in the new Antarctica Realm, with guests disembarking straight into the chilly climate of SeaWorld’s penguin habitat. In doing so, the attraction aims to not only thrill, but also educate guests about the conservation work at the heart of SeaWorld’s mission.

After a ride on Penguin Trek, guests can cool off at South Pole Sips, a bar offering draft beer, canned drinks, and deliciously refreshing frozen cocktails. And the whole family can fuel up for even more fun with lunch at the reopened Expedition Cafe, where quick and tasty Italian and Asian inspired dishes are on the menu.
