The new Fast and the Furious film, The Fate of the Furious, opens on the 14th April 2017 and to celebrate, there’s a brand-new attraction at Universal Studios Florida. Three cars from the new film have parked up in the San Francisco area of the park for guests to see in the flesh (or should we say in the steel).
If you’re a Fast and Furious fan, don’t miss this opportunity to see the actual cars from the film and snap a picture up close, as well as learning more about how the cars were used in the filming of the new movie. Get your pic next to Dom (Vin Diesel)’s Ice Charger, a 1970 Dodge Charger with a high-speed Hellcat V8 engine, Roman (Tyrese Gibson)’s 2004 Bentley GT, a turbocharged beauty and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez)’s Rally Fighter, designed for any and all obstacles and conditions.
Of course, this new attraction is all just a warm up for Universal Orlando Resort’s brand new attraction, Fast & Furious: Supercharged which is opening next year. This new attraction will be similar to the attraction which opened in 2015 at Universal Studios Hollywood in California – a high-speed car race which allows guests to really feel like they’re in the Fast and Furious family!
The Hollywood version uses 3D-HD imagery projected on to gigantic 360-degree screens to re-create the special effects employed by the movie and promises a multi-sensory experience for riders. All that has been revealed about the Orlando ride is that guests will be submerged into the dirty world of underground racing for a ride that will fuse the thrilling storyline with incredible ride technology. That’s enough for us to start getting excited though!
Make sure you look out for this cool new addition to the Universal Orlando park on your next visit!
