Halloween Horror Nights is one of our favourite theme park events - even though it absolutely terrifies us! This annual Halloween spectacular takes place at Universal Studios Florida, bringing to life some of the most famous horror stories of all time. While it might seem a bit soon to be thinking of the spooky season, it’s already time to get excited as Universal have just confirmed the dates for this year’s event.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 will run on select nights between August 29th and November 2nd. So, if you’re visiting Orlando this autumn and think you’ve got what it takes to face the monsters, mutants and maniacs, you really should check it out.
This year will be the 34th year that Universal Orlando have hosted Halloween Horror Nights, and the frightening fun is beginning earlier than ever! One of the event highlights has to be the terrifying haunted houses. These offer a walk-through experience where guests can relive scenes from classic horror franchises, as well as new stories that are Universal original creations.
And the very first house has now been announced! Face your fears in post-apocalyptic LA, devastated by nuclear war, based on the hit show and game franchise Fallout. You’ll travel into the vaults and be attacked by raiders alongside Lucy. You’ll escape to the wasteland and confront the bounty hunter, The Ghoul. You’ll even encounter Maximus with the Brotherhood of Steel and see T-60 power armour.
Of course, that’s not all. There are also scare zones set up throughout the park, where live actors roam the streets looking for people to terrorise. These zones are one of the scariest parts of Halloween Horror Nights as there’s nowhere to hide - you simply can’t avoid them!
