One of the biggest decisions you’ll make when planning your Disneyland® Paris trip is where to stay. There are many options, and one of the first choices you’ll want to consider is whether to stay on-site in a Disneyland Paris hotel or select an off-site Disneyland Paris Area hotel.
Both options offer fantastic benefits for their guests, ranging from early entry into Disneyland Paris to free breakfasts, but some may be more suited for your group than others. Here’s a rundown of each and some of our favourite benefits that you could enjoy.
Where to stay during your trip to Disneyland Paris
Most Disney® Hotels are on-site at Disneyland Paris (with the exception of Les Villages Nature Paris), and as such, are able to offer a whole host of on-site benefits. The majority of these hotels are within a short walking distance of the parks, saving you time during your stay so that you can spend longer enjoying the attractions.
By contrast, the Disneyland Paris Area Hotels are situated off-site. They are also within close proximity of the parks and tend to offer less expensive accommodation options than the on-site hotels.
How many hotels are there in Disneyland Paris?
There are seven Disneyland Paris hotels offering on-site accommodation with some incredible themes. And there are also 15 off-site Disneyland Paris Area Hotels available to book through AttractionTickets.com. All of which means that there are over 20 accommodation options for you to choose from when deciding where you want to stay during your Disneyland holiday.
How much does it cost to stay in a Disney Hotel?
The costs of staying in each Disney Hotel and Disneyland Paris Area Hotel differs depending on which hotel you choose. You can select from deluxe hotels such as Disneyland® Hotel or else opt for a value hotel more suited to your budget such as the Holiday Inn Express. Disneyland Paris Area Hotels tend to be lower in cost than the on-site hotels.
What are the benefits of staying at a Disney Hotel?
There are many excellent reasons to book a stay at a Disneyland Paris hotel, including family-friendly accommodation and the chance to take part in on-site Disney Character meetings. Plus their fantastic locations mean that Disneyland Paris hotels are within easy access of the parks.
Disney Hotels are close to the parks
The Disney Hotels are the closest you can get to the magic. Almost all the hotels are within easy walking distance of the parks. For example, it’s just a 10-minute walk from Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and 20 minutes from Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe.
All of the Disney Hotels are less than 25 minutes away by car or shuttle, except for the Disneyland Hotel, which is right at the entrance to Disneyland® Park. You literally couldn’t be any closer if you tried!
You’ll get Extra Magic Time
When you stay at a Disney Hotel, you’ll have even more time to enjoy the parks. That’s because you’ll get Extra Magic Time*, giving you access to selected rides in Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park up to 30 minutes before other guests arrive.
Enjoy Disney theming and Disney Character meetings
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney Hotel without some Disney theming! From Bambi and Toy Story to the Disney Princesses and MARVEL Super Heroes, the Disney Hotels all have characteristic Disney touches throughout the bedrooms, restaurants, and recreation facilities.
They also offer exclusive Disney Character meetings exclusively for those staying at the hotel^, providing more unforgettable experiences for you and your family.
Choose your board option
If you prefer to pay for your room and board in advance, then a Disneyland Paris meal plan could be perfect for you. Breakfast-only, half-board, and full-board options are available at almost all the Disney Hotels (Les Villages Nature® Paris not included), giving you more time to enjoy yourselves on holiday as you worry less about costs, budgets and finding places to eat.
