Two unique Floridian experiences

We know there is a LOT to fit into your Orlando holiday which is why Gray Line Orlando has created this classic combination tour from Orlando, pairing the must-do visit to Kennedy Space Center with the thrills and excitement of an airboat ride and the chance to enjoy some of the real, natural Florida.

Our guide to Kennedy Space Center Tour & Airboat Safari

It may seem strange to combine the high-tech world of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex with the rural nature of air boating, but Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral is surrounded by conservation areas and wildlife refuges, so there is a strong link between the two. Enjoy the ultra-modern and nature on one tour!

Depart Orlando for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex accompanied by an expert tour guide. During the journey, your guide will share expert tips to maximise your time at Kennedy Space Center Visitor. In addition, they'll accompany you inside the attraction, ensuring your day is planned for independent exploration! Soak up the vast array of exhibits and presentations that provide the full lowdown on the past, present and future of the space program as it gears up for a return to the moon and on to Mars.

Feel the exhilaration of the Shuttle Launch Experience, a motion-based simulator that replicates the sights, sounds, and sensations of launching into space aboard a Space Shuttle. Strap in like a crew member and experience the thrill of launch and orbit with a breathtaking view of Earth. Take the narrated NASA bus tour to the Apollo Saturn V Center, where you'll stand inside the historic launch control room and marvel at the colossal Saturn V rocket—the largest ever to fly. Cap off the tour with an immersive IMAX movie experience. Explore a scale-size space shuttle, examine a moon rock, or indulge in space ice cream—a day of excitement awaits the whole family!

Afterwards, head to Brevard County where the second part of your adventure awaits on the St. Johns River. Here, on the longest river in Florida, your airboat captain will showcase the natural splendours of Central Florida with an unforgettable ride on one of these unique, flat-bottomed craft that are powered by a giant propeller. Skimming along the river and its surrounding wetlands at up to 45mph, you will catch glimpses of alligators, turtles and other wildlife that make the river their home, including the state’s abundance of birdlife, from egrets and herons to eagles and ospreys.

Operates:
