When you check in to your Disney Resort hotel, all your dining plan credits will be loaded onto your Disney band or card. You'll have access to your dining credits from the beginning of your holiday, so you can splurge on some days and eat light on others, depending on your plans. 

To use your dining credits, touch your Disney band or card to the magic point when purchasing your meals and snacks. Your receipt will then detail how many credits were used in that transaction and how many you have left. You can also check your credit balance on the My Disney Experience app^. 

The Quick-Service Meal Plan and the Disney Dining Plans also qualify for a Refillable Resort Mug. These can be picked up from the quick-service dining location at your Disney Resort hotel and used for unlimited refills of fountain soda, tea and coffee from Quick-Service restaurants at any Disney Resort Hotel (cannot be used in the Disney Parks, Water Parks or Disney Springs locations).

Free Dining and Drinks at Walt Disney World Resort

• The Free Dining and Drinks offer is available for guests checking into a qualifying Disney Hotel on any of the following dates: 7 January to 30 March 2026, 13 April to 7 October 2026 and 22 October to 19 December 2026. Bookings checking in at a Disney Resort hotel on any other date do not qualify for Free Dining and Drinks.
