A water park in winter? Yes, it’s possible!
Heading to Tenerife for some winter sun in February? Then you won’t want to miss a visit to Siam Park, voted one of the best water parks in the world.

There’s a reason why Siam Park has topped TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for the best water park in the world time and time again (10 times in a row to be exact). Tenerife is a fantastic location for holiday-makers seeking some winter sun, which means the island’s famous water park enjoys great year-round weather for guests to enjoy.

Here’s why we think you should take a trip to Tenerife this winter, and why a visit to Siam Park should be the most important part of your itinerary!

1. Temperatures are more manageable compared to the summer

Tenerife is a popular summer destination too, but with temperatures reaching around 30°C it can sometimes feel too hot, especially for families with young children. During the winter months, Tenerife is still pleasantly warm; perfect for sunbathing, sitting at the bar, and going back and forth between your favourite water slides.

2. Siam Park has heated water

Even though the weather in Tenerife never gets too chilly (especially compared to our freezing British winters!), the water used in Siam Park is actually heated to a toasty 25 degrees celsius. This means that you’ll be able to enjoy the various attractions without getting too cold, even when the outside air is slightly cooler.

Fun fact! At the end of the day, the water at Siam Park is recycled to water the plants in the gardens

3. Siam Park is open year-round

Unlike many water parks, Siam Park is actually open 365 days a year. This means that during a winter trip to Tenerife, this is one of the attractions you can rely on being open. Many guests report that February is a great time to visit the park, thanks to the smaller crowds, moderate weather, and varied attractions within the park.

Siam Park’s winter season runs from 30th October to 30th April, when the park will be open from 10am to 5pm.

4. There’s something for everyone at Siam Park

While this is true at any time of the year, it means that February is the perfect time for anyone to visit Siam Park, as families can make the most of the February half-term, while adults-only groups can take a trip during term-time to enjoy the park with fewer children compared to the summer months. Thrill-seekers will love the record-breaking slides and jaw-dropping plunges, while those looking for a more relaxed experience will make good use of the lazy Mai Thai River or the world-famous Siam Beach. Relax, have fun, and take pleasure in knowing that these world-class experiences cannot be had anywhere else.
