With a colourful history stretching back over 200 years, The Royal Pavilion was initially built as a seaside pleasure place for King George IV. Since then, it has served as a civic building, a First World War hospital and now become a true icon of Brighton. Effortlessly fusing Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China, explore The Pavilion’s vast array of furniture and works of art which include original pieces lent by HM the Queen.
After marvelling at the Pavilion, continue your adventure heading to The Wine Cellar for a sparkling afternoon tea. Tuck into a delectable scone with clotted cream and jam, paired with a pot of tea and a glass of sparkling wine, Seaside days out don’t get much better than this.
What happens on the day?
On arrival at The Royal Pavilion, you’ll be warmly greeted and given access to explore the colourful history stretching back over 200 years. After marvelling at the vast array of furniture and works of art, continue your adventure to The Wine Cellar to relax with a Cream Tea. You’ll tuck into a scone each with clotted cream and jam, paired with a pot of tea and a glass of sparkling wine.

- The Royal Pavilion Brighton
- Available seven days a week throughout the year. Excluded dates may apply.
- April to September: 09.30 am – 5.45 pm (last admission at 5.00 pm) October to March: 10.00 am - 5.15 pm (last admission at 4.30 pm)
- Wine Cellar
- Available seven days a week throughout the year. Excluded dates may apply.
- Weekdays: 4.00 pm - 11.00 pm Saturday: 12.00 pm - 11.00 am Sunday: 12.00 pm - 8.00 pm
- Please ensure you allow plenty of time for travelling between the different parts of your experience.
- We advise to allow 2 hours for your visit to The Brighton Pavilion and up to 1 hour for your cream tea.
- Please do not contact the Wine Cellar or The Royal Pavilion directly to make a booking, please follow the booking instructions below.
- A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. The Cancellation Indemnity policy may provide a replacement voucher in the event of cancellation by the participant owing to circumstances beyond their control.
- Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase regardless of the departure date entered. It is your responsibility to have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
- Blackout dates may apply.
- Cancellation Policy: Experience vouchers can be cancelled with a full refund if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. Experience vouchers are non-refundable after 30 days of purchase and 100% cancellation charges will apply. Please note: A refund cannot be given for a Voucher which has been partially used.
