Next, cross the Daintree River by cable ferry to immerse yourself in the heart of the world’s oldest rainforest. Take a refreshing dip in Mason’s pristine swimming hole, savour a locally sourced lunch at Masons Café and explore the Daintree’s fascinating flora and fauna with a knowledgeable guide. Stand at the awe-inspiring Cape Tribulation Beach, where the Wet Tropics and Great Barrier Reef meet.

Top off your day with a stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company for a taste of tropical flavours, capture stunning views from Alexandra Lookout and embark on a Daintree River cruise to spot crocodiles and wildlife. Plus, this adventure is carbon-neutral—each tour’s emissions are offset with local reforestation, so you can explore sustainably.

This tour picks up from centrally located Port Douglas accommodation. Pick-ups start from around 7:30am. Your exact pick-up time will be advised upon reconfirmation of your tour locally.

  • The itinerary is subject to change without notice. It may operate in reverse or in a different sequence.
  • What to Bring: Your voucher, camera, hat, sunscreen & insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water, money for drinks and snacks, swimmers, towel, dry change of clothes & a light jumper in winter months
  • Return transfers (pick up & drop off) are included from Port Douglas accommodation (including locations from Ellis Beach northwards). Transfers are not available from private residences (including AirBnB properties) – guests will need to make their own way to another pickup location.
  • Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to travel. 
  • A moderate level of fitness is required for this tour.
  • You must call the tour operator locally to re-confirm your booking and pick-up details. 
  • If you have any mobility impairments or may require further assistance on the day of the tour, please inform us in advance. 

*Cancellation Policy: 

Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 24 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 24-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
